Charlie
Convenient location for exploring the Harz mountains, with easy access to the village center and popular restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, the breakfast provided was great for those wishing to catch the Harz steam train early in the morning.
Despite being advertised as offering wifi, the connection in the room was poor and unusable. The value for money was questionable, especially outside of peak season.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The food was delicious, and it seemed to be popular with the locals. The room I stayed in was spacious, even though it was a bit old-fashioned. Additionally, the hotel staff provided a take-away breakfast when I had an early start to catch the Harz steam train. I enjoyed my stay here.
Nothing.

The restaurant's food was good and there was a lot of it. The locals seem to like it, so it felt authentic. The room was big and had everything we needed. It was also in a good location, just a short walk from the village center with lots of things to do.
The owners didn't speak much English, which made communication difficult. The wifi was also terrible and we couldn't really use it in our room.
